At Studio GREYBLUE we seek to promote a wider understanding of the medium of film and video and it's creation on an artistic and technical level.


At Acting Up Carolina in Charlotte, NC we offer a 10 week program for ages 12-16 called the Film Production Clinic.

FILM PRODUCTION CLINIC

Discuss shot composition, story structure, screen play formatting and a host of other film related principals. Use industry standard Panasonic 4K cameras, Adobe Premier editing suite, Rode microphones and Zoom audio equipment.


This class is the path for students serious about becoming directors, writers, editors, sound specialists, grips, set designers, actors and of course dreamers to start a film career!

This season’s film project will be entered into the 2018 100 Words Film Festival as a part of the curriculum. The 100 Words Film Festival is a Charlotte-based international film festival in which the participants are challenged to create a short film containing exactly 100 words.
